Draft:Greek Successor States (Fourth Crusade)

The Greek successor states were three rump states created by fleeing Greek aristocrats, following the sack of Constantinople by the crusaders of the Fourth Crusade in 1204[1]. These states were the Empire of Nicaea, the Despotate of Epirus, and the Empire of Trebizond.
