In Aviation, go-around attempt is a procedure performed by pilots during the approach or landing phase of flight when conditions are unfavorable for a safe touchdown. It involves aborting the landing and executing a climb to enter the traffic pattern for another approach or diverting to an alternate airport. Reasons for initiating a go-around attempt may include inadequate approach configuration, runway incursion, unstable approach, sudden changes in weather conditions, or the presence of obstacles on the runway.
