Glaser Weil is the trade name for the law firm of Glaser Weil Fink Howard Jordan & Shapiro LLP, a mid-sized Los Angeles-based law firm founded in 1988. Its lead name partners are Patricia (Patty) Glaser and Peter Weil, and include celebrity lawyer Bob Shapiro. As of 2023, the firm has about one hundred lawyers with offices in Century City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Newport Beach.
Among other matters, Patty Glaser represented both Conan O'Brien in his exit negotiations with NBC[1], and Harvey Weinstein with respect to his firing from the Weinstein Co., and was long-time counsel to other major entertainment figures such as Kirk Kerkorian[2] Among other major representations, Peter Weil was lead outside counsel for MGM Mirage, now known as MGM Resorts International, in connection with the largest privately funded construction project in U.S. history, CityCenter, the $9 billion mixed-use project in Las Vegas.[3]
