Nwanya Ginikachukwu Millicent (born 17 May 1997) professionally known by her stage name Ginika Godwin, is a Nigerian Model, Content Creator, Brand Influencer, Actress, Fashion Stylist, and Movie producer. She is widely known for her controversial content with Street interviews and her short movie Unfaithful Saturday", also with Jazzy Bugger in her content, which is the most talked content in her content till-date.

Early life

Nwanya Ginikachukwu Millicent was born 17 May 1997 in Ofufe Amakwa, Ozubulu-Anambra State, and grew up in Ajah, lagos State.[1] She is born to Nigerian parents and is a descendant of the igbo people from the southeast part of Nigeria. Ginika had her primary education at Excellent Model School in Onitsha, Anambra State, and Kumoni International School Portharcourt for her secondary education.[1] She studied Business Administration at Lagos State Polytechnic in Lagos State State for her tertiary education.[1]

Career

Ginika began creating content for fun and sharing them with her friends while chatting.[2] She was encouraged by her friends to take them more seriously.[2] In 2016, she began Content creating and interviews[3] and rose to stardom during with her Controlversial contents with streets interviews with jazzy bugger.[4] In 2023, she gained popularity on Instagram and tiktok and was celebrated by Meta, among other content creators.[5][6] She considers Genevieve Nnaji, Don Jazzy, and Taaooma as her role model.[2]

On 6 September 2024, Ginika launched her first solo movie called Unfaithful Saturday ,. On 23 May 2024, in an interview, she revealed how she started content creation from boredom in 2022, after relocating to Lagos in November 2021.[7] On 15 August 2024, Ginika took to her Social pages to announce the arrival of her first short movie.

Controversy

On 10 November 2024, she was dragged on Instagram and TikTok following the release of her sexual content that went viral. Many people expressed disappointment with the content and described it as an insult to women and African ladies. Thereafter she apologized after taking down the video from her social platforms.
