Galina Karimovna Saidova (Uzbek: Galina Karimovna Saidova; born 1956) is an Uzbek politician. She has served as the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2011.[1]

Galina Karimovna Saidova was born in 1956, in the city of Samarkand.
Higher education. She graduated from Samarkand Cooperative Institute (now Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service) as an economist. Doctor of economics, professor.

In 1987-1991 — Head of the Department of Trade in Consumer Goods and Services of the State Planning Committee of the Uzbek SSR;
In 1992 — Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Exchange Association "Toshkent";
In 1992-1994 she was Vice-Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy;
In 1994-1997 — Deputy Chairman of Goskomprognostat (State company of forecasts and statistics) of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
In 1997-2002 — Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
In 2002-2005 — Chairman of the Committee on Economic Insolvency of Enterprises under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
In 2003-2005 — First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Head of the Complex of Macroeconomics and General Economic Forecasts;
In 2005-2006 — First Deputy Minister of Economy of Republic of Uzbekistan - Chairman of the State Committee on Demonopolization, Competition and Entrepreneurship Support;
In 2006-2010 — First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on macroeconomic parameters and financial and currency balance and development of the Republican Investment Program;
In 2008-2010 — Director of the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
In 2010-2011 — Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan;[2]
In 2011-2017 — Minister of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. She succeeded Ravshan Gulyamov, who took her previous position.[3] Saidova became the head of the ministry on August 1, 2011.
From November 1, 2017, to present — she has been the Deputy State Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on socio-economic issues.[4]
