Marco and The Galaxy Dragon, formerly released in Japan as ~MARCO & GALAXY DRAGON (Japanese: マルコと銀河竜, "Maruko to Ginga ryū"), is a japanese visual novel directed by Tsukushiyama and written by Hato in an indie company called TOKYOTOON. The game follows Marco, an orphan girl with no memories who has been kidnapped into treasure stealing in the galaxy, and Arco, a girl who can shapeshift into a galaxy dragon.[1]

Ten years ago, Marco played at her piano competition and went to her mother about her victory. However, she finds three clowns taking her hostage and one of them grabs Marco's jaw, making her watch in horror and get kidnapped. One day, Marco goes to a sandy planet and finds the Lizard Stone, a stone that lets the person become ruler of the galaxy when they possess it. She then discovers it in a temple and retrieves it by a dance recital. But Marco is suddenly stopped by El Skeleton and his scuba diver henchmen, who are also trying to get the stone. Luckily, she escapes with the orb and hovers to the exit but is blocked by them. El Skeleton starts using is bone muscles as bombs to hit Marco, but are dodged. He then uses his bones to become so big, it explodes a part of the temple.
Marco comes back covered by dust to see Arco in their TV spaceship along with the stone. Both of them don't know the stone's actual use, but are sure to sell it, soaring off. Dosgoro suddenly calls the ship, angrily telling Marco to not sell the stone without his permission. She dismisses the idea and that she's deciding to sell it herself. They then arrive on Earth to find a perfect place for it before eventually entering Gold Cord City. The duo find a soba restaurant to eat and meet Ruri, a girl who works part time there and a cooker. A young girl who is a treasure hunter and with no memories. She's a sarcastic girl and food lover that is looking for her lost mother with a torn photo as a treasure map.[2]

The last and only galaxy dragon of it's kind and can transform into a smaller dragon when she's hungry. When Arco has a full belly, she turns into a humanoid girl with silver hair and a pink ombre. She's also a food lover like her friend because of her birthplace being a black hole.

A girl from a destroyed planet called "Planet Gal", and a part of a clan that worshipped the dragons. She wields a sword named Coelacanth and fights for her family's honor.

The daughter of Astaroth, a man whos wants to conquer the whole galaxy. She's an emotionless girl who tags along with El Skeleton to find the Lizard Stone on Earth.

The younger sister of Yuuko Onda and a skilled fighter trying to protect Gold Cord. She's also a part of the student council.

The older sister of Sakurako Onda who owns a restaurant called "Cafe Ancient", infamous for its curry.

The student council president at Isezaki Academy and invests in the Lizard Stone because she just wants it. Her family owns Isezaki Heavy Industries.

Tera's younger sister and the minister of finance in her family. She supports the family's finances using the foreign stock exchange.

Vice president of the student council and Tera's right hand. She's a bookworm who serves the Isezaki family.

Astaroth's subordinate who leads a group of scuba divers. He runs an oden stand to find the Lizard Stone on Earth.

The main antagonist of the game who destroys planets in order to conquer the galaxy. He wants the Lizard Stone Marco stole.

A dentist that once worked in illegal treatment across the galaxy. She's now quietly working under Pandagraph Dentistry on Earth.
- Mayor (Japanese: 市長 Shichō)
Voice: Anzu Haruno
The mayor of Gold Cord City as a child. She promises to let the citizens follow her path, but no one listens.
- HARA (Japanese: 原, HARA)
Voice: Yukihiro Nozuyama
Marco's moped that can ride through space. At one point, it transforms into a bipedal mech and knows how to speak.
- Emergency Rations (Japanese: 非常食, Hijō shoku)

A pig-like creature Marco found when she was younger. It might be eaten in case of an emergency.
