Fredrik Jon Lennart Präntare, born 9 September 1990 in Söderhamn, is a Swedish AI researcher, game director, and entrepreneur known for his role in creating Core Keeper, a game selling over 2 million units during its Steam Early Access period.[1] Awarded the Lilla Polhemspriset in 2018 by Sveriges Ingenjörer for his master's thesis at Paradox Development Studio, Präntare was also recognized as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Årets Unga Företagare) in Sweden in 2023. Founder of Dimfrost Studio and Pugstorm, he co-created Bramble: The Mountain King and Core Keeper. He also contributed to Europa Universalis IV as an AI programmer. He holds degrees from Linköping University and has been a visiting researcher at Stanford University.[2][3][4]

Präntare is passionate about art, music, mathematics, and algorithmic problem-solving. His achievements extend to competitive gaming, where he has attained high rankings in StarCraft II.[5]
