Comment: I don't think this is likely to be standalone-article notable but I'm not sure where else this content could go. If you can find an article already in Wikipedia where it would make sense to add a paragraph on this initiative, feel free. If you want to try resubmitting this, it will help a lot to be more specific about what the sources say about it. Featured in Art and Biotechnology how? FEMeeting: Women in Art, Science and Technology is a web community and the title of a conference series instigated in December 2017 by Marta de Menezes and Dalila Honorato, after collaboration during Cultivamos Cultura Summer School in Odemira and Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science at the Ionian University in Corfu.[1] According to their website the aim of the project is to contribute to the exchange of research methodologies and to the development of direct collaboration strategies among individuals who identify as women, independently of their gender, aiming to showcase and disseminate women's projects in art and science.[2]
FEMeeting was included in the study by Robles Mateo (2020) as an example of all-women initiatives in art and technology and its activities throughout the pandemic 2020-2022 were featured in the book Art and Biotechnology: Viral Culture from CRISPR to COVID (2024) edited by Claire Nettleton and Louise Mackenzie and published by Bloomsbury.[3] [4] In OMICS: A Journal of Integrative Biology, Yetişkin and Doğrusöz (2022) described the skilled practices and intra-actions of FEMeeting during COVID-19 as "a feminist conception of the virus" as opposed to the war metaphor.[5]
