The FC Barcelona-Paris Saint-Germain F.C. rivalry is an international club rivalry between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. It is most often played in the Champions League, where they have faced each other a total of 14 times[1].
History
editThe clubs first played each other in the quarter finals of the 1994-95 UEFA Champions League season. The first leg resulted in a 1-1 tie, whereas the second leg saw PSG win 2-1 with a late winner from Vincent Guérin[1].
On the 8th of March, 2017, FC Barcelona won 6-1 against PSG on aggregate at the Camp Nou, overcoming a 4 goal deficit in the second leg.[1] This makes it the largest comeback in UEFA Champions League history, many dubbing it la Remontada (English: the comeback)[2].
