Professors in the field of criminology-related fields, such as restorative justice, juvenile and youth justice, cyberbullying, crime prevention, triad studies, crime control in the Greater China Region, animal abuse, violent and sexual offending, and restorative justice.

  • Sociology

The scientific study of human social structures and relationships is known as sociology. Subjects covered include societal stability, crime, religion, family, racial and socioeconomic divides, and culture. Experts in the field of sociology have demonstrated exceptional scholarly achievements and research effects, concentrating on marginalized populations such as women, young, elderly, migrants, and sex workers within the framework of broader societal structures and governmental regulations in Chinese communities.

In order to develop a new generation of students who can approach complicated psychological and behavioral issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, teaching places a strong emphasis on the integration of theory and research abilities.

  • Social Work

Counseling and social work are two priceless professions that complement one another at the macro, mezzo, and micro levels of professional practice for the benefit of the underprivileged and the betterment of society. In order to equip students as helpful professionals with competence in their reflective practice and intellectual ability to analyze and inform the practice environment with information, we aim to provide high quality professional and academic training in social work and counseling. School are passionate in nurturing students and active in conducting multi-disciplinary and applied research in the areas of positive education, youth problems and crimes, school bullying, substance abuse and rehabilitation, health and ageing, poverty and housing, family process and parenting practice, disability and diversity, treatment methods for people with psychosocial and mental health problems.
