Submission declined on 1 December 2023 by CurryTime7-24 (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines for sports persons and athletes). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Eivile Steikunaite (born 27 November 1992 in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian model and former basketball player.
Career edit
Basketball edit
Steikunaite started playing basketball when she was eight.[1] In 2008, when she was 15 years old, Steikunaite signed a contract with Aistės Kaunas of the Lithuanian Women's Basketball League (LMKL), the highest level of the Lithuanian women's basketball system.[2] However, before the start of the season, during practice, Steikunaite tore her ACL and was forced to stop playing basketball for almost two years.[3]
Steikunaite managed to bounce back from her injuries. In 2010, she played in the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship in Slovakia.[4] Later, before the 2010-11 season Steikunaite signed with Laisvė Kaunas of LMKL.[5] In 15 games she averaged 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.[6] After the season Steikunaite decided to retire from professional basketball.
Before the 2012-13 season, Steikunaite came back on the court and signed with Team Northumbria[7] of National Basketball League, back then the highest level of the British women's basketball system. However, the team finished the season in sixth place[8], and Steikunaite went into her second and final retirement.
Modeling edit
Steikunaite started her modeling career when she was 16 years old.[9][10] She received multiple offers to become a full-time model in Lithuania and abroad, but at that time she decided to turn them down due to her basketball career.[11] Nevertheless, Steikunaite was participating in runway shows alongside photoshoots.[11]
In 2011, by fan voting, Steikunaite was elected as the most charming player of the LMKL.[12] Later that year, she participated in a beauty pageant in Kaunas called "Miss Temporary Capital"[13][14] (Kaunas was the temporary capital of Lithuania back in 1920–1939).
Personal life edit
Steikunaite got married in 2021.
Currently, besides modeling, Steikunaite works as an interior designer at CASA VIBES.
