Edward James Daly[1] (March 29, 1892 – July 20, 1959) was a justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court from 1954 to 1959.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 29, 1892.[1]

He attended the old South School and was graduated from Hartford Public High School in 1910. ... He loved sports throughout his life, but while he was in college he had to withdraw from active participation because of defective eyesight. He was graduated from Cornell University in 1914 with the degree of LL.B., having completed his academic and law studies in four years.[1]

He served in the aviation section of the signal corps of the United States Army during World War I.[1]
