Brilliant Minds (originally titled Dr. Wolf) is an upcoming American medical drama television series inspired by the books The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars. It is scheduled to premiere on September 23, 2024 on NBC.
Premise
editThe series follows revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto) and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health.

Production
editDevelopment
editIn November 2019, it was announced that the series was in development at Fox, with the network landing the project with a script deal plus penalty.[1] However, Fox did not go forward with the project. On January 24, 2023, the show's development was moved to NBC,[2] then was given a series order on October 20, 2023.[3]
Brilliant Minds has been moved to the 2024–25 season due to strike-related production delays.[4] On May 1, 2024, it was announced that the series name was changed from Dr. Wolf to Brilliant Minds.[5]

editBrilliant Minds is scheduled to premiere on September 23, 2024 on NBC. The series will be available to stream on Peacock later on.
