The Dr. Ram Tarneja Award for the Best Article in Indian Management is a prestigious award presented by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Considered one of the most well-known recognitions in the field of management in India, it honors outstanding contributions to management thought within the country.

Establishment and Selection Process

Established in 2005, the award is presented annually. A distinguished jury panel reviews the articles published throughout the year in AIMA's monthly management journal, a collaboration with Spenta Multimedia Pvt Ltd. The panel then selects the best article for recognition.

Award Ceremony

The Dr. Ram Tarneja Award is presented during AIMA's Foundation Day, held annually on February 21st. This ceremony serves as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate significant contributions to the field of Indian management.
