editDoreen graduated from the Aboriginal Film and Television Diploma Program at Capilano University. While there, she received the Governor General of Canada Bronze Medal Award for Academic Excellence. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Thompson Rivers University and is currently a graduate student at the University of British Columbia in the Film Production Graduate program.
