Diablo Drinks is a unique recreational service offered in San Francisco Bay Area which combines a day hike to Mount Diablo, once of the tallest mountains in the area, with Brewery Bash after the hike. The service is immensely popular with the local population in San Francisco East Bay and members from all San Francisco, Oakland, South Bay and Central valley have experienced the service. The experience director is Ayush Chopra, who is connected to NorCal Hikes, a very popular hiking blog in California. The organizing group is also connected to Save Mount Diablo initiative which was cofounded by Mary Bowerman
The 12.9 mile and 10 hour hike and drinks experience was conceptualized in 2023 when some of the service directors started claiming to be drinking people with hiking problem. The is believed to be loosely based on the ideology of Hash house Harriers, though not confirmed.
