DEADLETTER is an alternative rock/post-punk band based in London, England.[1]. As of 2023, The band consists of lead vocalist Zac Lawrence, guitarists Will King and Samuel Jones, saxophonist Poppy Richler, bassist George Ulyott and drummer Alfie Husband[2].

Background edit

Zac, George and Alfie have been playing music together for years back in Yorkshire, where they come from[3]. In 2017, they moved to London and Will joined them to form the band Mice On Mars, that would become a couple of months later DEADLETTER, with the addition of saxophonist Poppy Richler and guitarist Sam Jones.

Releases edit

The band released a couple of singles before releasing their first EP, Heat! in 2022, containing singles Binge, Madge's Declaration and Weights. The EP was released via British independant label SO Recordings.[4]

The band released two singles in 2023, The Snitching Hour and Degenerate Inanimate[5]
