Comment: I think you could find more sourcing that would satisfy the requirements at WP:NBOOK, but I also think it's better to make a single article on the entire Slough House series. There is almost no information about the series on Mick Herron's biography article, but it's unquestionably notable since it's the basis for the Slow Horses series. Dead Lions is a 2013 novel by British author Mick Herron, and the second book in the Slough House series.[1]
Dead Lions was turned down by Herron's original publisher, Constable, and was initially released solely in the United States, on Soho Press. In 2015, it was published in the UK in paperback by John Murray.[2]
Critical Reception edit
Kirkus Reviews described Dead Lions as "a dour, twisty spy thriller with something for everyone".[3]
Dead Lions received the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award 2013, with the judges describing the book as "a well written, wickedly clever send-up of the classic British spy novel".[4][5]
