Dariusz Klejnowski-Różycki (Chinese: 柯達理), full name Dariusz Sergiusz Piotr Józef Klejnowski-Różycki of the Rolicz coat of arms, is a priest of the Diocese of Gliwice, sinologist, pianist, iconographer, professor at the University of Opole, doctor habilitated in theological sciences in the field of dogmatics and ecumenism, rector of the Silesian School of Iconography, director of the Institute for Research on Theology and Spirituality of the Far East, head of doctoral studies in theological sciences at the Faculty of Theology, University of Opole, co-founder of the Sinicum Association named after Michał Boym SJ, curator of the international think tank Catechetical Definitions, and church censor of the Diocese of Gliwice.

In 2001, together with his mother, Janina Różycka-Klejnowska, he founded the Silesian School of Iconography, taking responsibility for the formation of iconographers in the Archdiocese of Katowice, the Diocese of Gliwice, and the Diocese of Opole[1]. In 2000, he founded the Institute for Research on Theology and Spirituality of the Far East. He is a member of the International Sodality of Prayer, Badaliya. Since 1998, he has been a member of the international movement Communion and Liberation, being part of its Fraternity[2].

He studied in Lublin, Kraków, Paris at the Institut Catholique de Paris,[3] Paris Diderot University,[4] and Institut Saint-Serge.[5] In Beijing, he studied at the Beijing Language and Culture University,[6] and in Taipei at Fu Jen Catholic University.[7] His research interests and publications primarily concern dogmatic theology (Christology),[8][9] icon theology,[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] and Asian theology.[9] His scientific identifier is ORCID: [1](https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8388-702X)

Works

The works of Dariusz Klejnowski-Różecki include both musical compositions and, most importantly, scientific publications related to the theology of icons, Chinese theology, Asian theology, Christology, and dogmatics in general. Additionally, Dariusz Klejnowski-Różycki is a painter, engaging not only in oil painting but primarily in tempera, promoting the classical Byzantine icon. He is an active teacher, not only at the University of Opole and the Silesian School of Iconography but also in mass media, especially on YouTube. He is connected with all Polish iconographic centers in Poland, promoting the idea of unity and dialogue. He is also an expert in Far Eastern art, especially Chinese art.
