Dan Takahashi[1] (born July 1985) is a Japanese investor and entrepreneur, founder and CEO of PostPrime Inc. He was born in Toshima, Tokyo, and produces investment-related content on YouTube and his platform, PostPrime.[2]

Takahashi has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including working at investment banks and hedge funds in New Yor[3]k and investing in precious metals in Southeast Asia.

He started his YouTube channel in January 2020, where he posts videos about finance and economics. In September 2021, he launched PostPrime, a platform with a unique badge system.[4]

Career

After graduating from Cornell University, Takahashi joined Morgan Stanley at the age of 21. He moved to a hedge fund following the 2008 financial crisis, specializing in arbitrage trading.

At 26, he co-founded a hedge fund with friends.[5] He sold his shares at age 30 and moved to Singapore. After traveling to around 60 countries, he returned to Japan in late 2019 and started his YouTube channel.
