Dagang Oilfield is an oil field located in North China. It was founded in January 1964. Dagang Oilfield Branch of PetroChina is responsible for its exploration, production, processing, transportation and other tasks. Its headquarters is located in Haibin Street, Binhai New Area, Tianjin. The exploration area of Dagang Oilfield reaches 18,629 square kilometres, consisting of 15 oil and gas fields and 24 development zones.

In December 1963, an industrial oil flow was discovered in Huanghua County, Hebei Province. The Ministry of Petroleum of the People's Republic of China decided to organize the North China Oil Campaign. On December 20, 1964, a blowout occurred in Gang 5 well, announcing the birth of Dagang Oilfield. Following the Gang 5 well, the Gang 7 well and the Gang 3 well also began to produce oil, with daily oil production exceeding hundreds of tons. Subsequently, three oil fields in the east, middle and west of Dagang were discovered one after another. In 1999, the Dagang Oilfield Branch of PetroChina was established.
