DJ E, the stage name of Egor Kovalienko, is a Ukrainian born electronic dance music producer and DJ living in New York City.

Egor Kovalienko was born (July 10th, 1990) in Zaporozhye, Ukraine.

Since early childhood he grew up with music in his ears. Egor began working as a club promoter in New York City at 16 years of age, along side with his step brother who founded GLADIATOR Promotions. While promoting music artists and venues throughout Brooklyn, NY with a great passion and love for music, Egor began to grow an interest of deejaying. Soon enough at the age of 17, DJ E became a fast growing name among New York City, lounges, and clubs in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

He is best known for his remixes of "Mr. Saxobeat song by Romanian singer Alexandra Stan", "Elektro song by Nicola Fasano, Outwork, and Mr. Gee", and most famous mashup of Twisted Mutfakta Turbulence 2 The Dum performed by DJ Chuckie, Hardwell, Lil Jon, Steve Aoki, Sidney Samson, and Laidback Luke, which became global hits with over millions of streams on music platforms and played most at festivals.

DJ E rose to fame with his famous mixes and mash-ups inspired by ID&T Sensation White, Ultra Music Festival, and Electric Zoo Festival, Kazantip.

It all began in 2004-2005 on a well known community based russian speaking social platform Whimit (founders of Meetspot) where Egor discovered the onlne advertisement and promotion of musical dance events.

Soon enough in 2006, Egor joined and Gladiator Promotions along with other promoters and started advertising Brooklyn's own Club and Restaurant Rasputin, and Manhattan famous Club Mood. After successful growth and interest of deejaying, DJ E was promoted and appeared in Plush Lounge (Brooklyn, NY), Adams Lounge, and local hookah lounges and clubs.

From Club Vapor, 41 Grove, to modeling fashion parties at Chrystie 141, guest appearances with Quintino at Pacha NYC, opening performance for Armin Van Buuren's guest appearance at Sky Lounge (New York, NY), to local parties at Club Monaco, Pi 2 (Pi Square), and many others. In 2011, DJ E earned 515 position in DJ Mag Top 100. DJ E music was aired on one of the biggest dance music stations on Sirius XM Electric Area Channel. While the parties went on, there were bigger plans in place for Egor and the music hobby had to come to a small halt with college education.

DJ life was never in the way of school since Egor always learned to balance himself. In 2013, Egor graduated with Bachelors of Science degree in Legal Studies and Arts minor in John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He then made a temporary move to Jacksonville, FL attended law school at Florida Coastal University of Law. On weekends Egor still managed to compose his first musical pieces and even visited Ultra Music Festival in Miami. In 2014 Egor secured a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

After family hardships and businesses back in New York Egor returned to his hometown. Despite long work hours, travel to Europe, something inside him was missing. While securing an entrepreneur lifestyle, in 2019 DJ E has made a return to the music industry and launched on over 100 platforms and the name keeps climbing the charts.

2019 to Present edit

As for the future , DJ E is working on composition of new songs and continues to release mixes and mashups on major platforms. In addition, he is working on collaborating with big stage names and performances that reach from United States to parts of Europe.
