D-Boogz

Daniel Bolden aka D-Boogz (born June 29, 1984) is a rapper and songwriter from Brooklyn. He rose to prominence following the release of his songs “Clap Them Things,” “Where Brooklyn At,” and his latest releases, “Real Nigga Shit,” “Can’t U See,” and “Street Life.” He also acted in a movie named “PPRESSED” as a rapper.[1]

Early life and education

D-Boogz started rapping at the age of 10 by taking inspiration from his father who was also an aspiring rapper and various Old School musicians such as Big Daddy Kane, Kool Moe Dee, and Rakim. He went to study at George Westinghouse Vocational High School located in Brooklyn, New York and played for Coach Eric Kelly’s Westinghouse Warriors team. Following his High School Graduation, D-Boogz went on to pursue higher education at Monroe College, where he received an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2012.

Music career

D-Boogz is known for his popular tracks such as “Clap Them Things,” “Where Brooklyn At,” and his latest releases, “Real Nigga Shit,” “Can’t U See,” and “Street Life.” Furthermore, he has also made appearances on various radio platforms such as Green Leaf Network Radio, Ride Heavy Radio Online Radio, iHeartRadio Online Radio, and Pandora Radio.

D-Boogz gained recognition in the music industry through Ralph McDaniels Video Music Box in 2014, Just Gimme the Mic in 2014, The Gasolina, and The Flat. Recently, he launched his single titled “Already” which features fellow hip-hop artist Debonair.

Film career

D-Boogz was included in the cast of “PPRESSED” a movie that was released in 2016 and directed by Vera Edwards. The film is based on a story where rappers go for the Street Line title and half-million dollars as prize money. The character that D-Boogz played was named “Mordecai.”[1]

Upcoming ventures

D-Boogz is presently in the process of working on a new project, which is anticipated to be released in the near future. With his authentic style of emceeing that is characteristic of Brooklyn, and the toughness that comes with experiencing life, D-Boogz is likely to establish a notable and lasting presence in hip-hop.

Humanitarianism

In addition to his music career, Bolden is the founder of D-BOOGZ ALL STARS, where he arranges events and does the work for the community. He has invited notable artists such as hip-hop and streetball legends, including The Future, O.G, Half Man Half Amazin, Shane the Dribbling Machine, Mr Cheeks of the Lost Boys, and High Octane.

He is also actively involved in community outreach by organizing school giveaways, which includes providing food, clothing, shoes, and school supplies to those in need. Moreover, he teamed up with hip-hop legend Mr. Cheeks to distribute gifts to elementary school students on Christmas Eve, highlighting his commitment to giving back to the community.
