Cornucopia offers a diverse and engaging farming simulation experience.[1] Players cultivate crops, enrich soil using the innovative NPK compost system, and engage in animal husbandry, raising and racing farm animals.[2] The game's extensive crafting system allows customization with home upgrades, barn expansions, and additional structures. With over 200 recipes, players can explore cooking while enjoying a relaxing fishing mini-game. Seasonal festivals, auctions, and boss battles diversify gameplay. Notably, the game features 32 marriage candidates, providing romantic paths. Players can use mouse and keyboard controls, controllers, or the Steam Deck for gameplay flexibility. Unique mechanics include pets following the player and the ability to ride pets, adding a distinctive element to the farming experience.

Development edit

The creation of "Cornucopia" was a deeply personal journey for its developer, inspired by a profound fascination with farming simulations.[3] To bring this passion to life, the developer embarked on a three-year homesteading venture in the Canadian countryside. Managing a diverse range of livestock and dedicating attention to beekeeping provided essential experiences that influenced the development of "Cornucopia." Using a custom game engine, the developer began crafting early prototypes of the game during their homesteading period. Interactions with a diverse array of individuals on the farm, along with personal encounters, served as inspiration for the game's characters and experiences.[1]
