Cloud is a Russian group of companies that provides internet acquiring services, fiscalization of online payments, management of payments worldwide, and acceptance of non-cash tips.

The company's business geography includes Russia, Europe and the CIS countries.

As of 2021, the company entered the top-20 fintech startups in Russia according to Visa, in the nomination for "Subscription Services and Products"..[1].

History

The company was founded as a startup on April 13, 2014, by Dmitry Spiridonov and Konstantin Yan.

In September 2014, the company became self-sufficient[3]. The company's revenue grows by 100% annually[4].

The Cloud Group of Companies

On February 17, 2022, the company CloudPayments underwent a rebranding and consolidated all its business lines under the single brand Cloud.[5].

On May 17, 2022, Dmitry Spiridonov, co-founder of CloudPayments, stepped down from his position as the Managing Director of Cloud. Pavel Vlasov became the company's General Director[6].

As of July 1, 2022, the CEO of CloudPayments became Tatyana Glazacheva, former General Director of Robokassa[7].

Branches

In 2014, the European office of CloudPayments was opened in Riga, Latvia. This allowed the company to work with clients from the European Union countries.

In the spring of 2016, a division of CloudPayments was established in Kazakhstan. In 2018, CloudPayments Kazakhstan was the first in Kazakhstan to connect its clients to the Google Pay payment acceptance system[9]. And in 2019, they were among the first to connect the Apple Pay payment acceptance system[10].

In 2022, the launch of divisions in Uzbekistan[11] and the Republic of Belarus is planned[12].
