Clemente Mariano is Philippine Army General who served as Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines from 1997 to 1998.
Career edit
He succeeded Air Force General Arnulfo Acedera as Chief of Staff and succeeded by Army General Joselin Nazareno in . Prior to this appointment he was the Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and was succeeded by Lieutenant General Ismael Villareal of the Philippine Army. He was the 37th Commanding General of the Philippine Army and succeeded by Lieutenant General Raul Urgello and Commander of the AFP Southern Command before becoming the commanding general.
