Early Life and Education
editClaudio Antonio Klaus Junior was raised in the countryside, where he recognized the importance of initiating change in static environments from a young age. He went on to pursue an extensive academic career, earning a Master's degree in Development and Society and a Bachelor's degree in Law in 2023. Prior to this, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Relations in 2021.
Academic and Professional Career
editKlaus Junior's scholarly pursuits were enriched by his time as a researcher at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. He completed postgraduate (lato sensu) programs in Digital Law and Innovation Management and Human Rights in 2022. Recognized for his academic excellence, he received the Thiago Moraes Barbarisi Memorial Scholarship from Fordham University School of Law in 2021 and was a Brazil Scholarship holder for a program at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2022.
His legal experience includes serving as a Legal Extern at the Supreme Court of Arizona under Justice Clint D. Bolick and as an International Visiting Research Trainee at Osgoode Hall School of Law, York University. He was also named a Don Lavoie Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University for 2023/2024.

editKlaus Junior is an active member of the "Challenges of Access to Human Rights in the Amazonian Context" research group at the Escola Superior da Magistratura do Amazonas (ESMAM).
