In 1998, Chakkilam Infotech Ltd., an IT and software services company was founded by C V Subramanyam. Cigniti Inc. was bought by the company in September 2011. In 2012, the company signed a multi-year contract with one of the world's top robotics and toy manufacturers.[6]
In 2014, the company increased its operations in the United Kingdom by opening an office in London. The organisation was rated at Level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) by the CMMI Institute in 2015.[7]
In 2021, opened an office in the Czech Republic.[8]
Cigniti paid $4.8 million to buy Aparaa Digital (RoundSqr).[9]
Philanthropy edit
In March 2023, Cigniti donated medical equipments to The MNJ Institute of Oncology Regional Cancer Center, Hyderabad.[10]
In June 2023, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology and Cigniti entered into a memorandum of understanging to launch a training programme for IT students.[11]
