Chris Popov edit
Christopher Petrov Popov (Born 26 October 2004) is a Welsh professional football player who currently plays for Leicester City F.C. U21 team [1]
Playing Career edit
Popov started his career with Manchester United F.C. at age 11.[2] He moved to Leicester U18's on July 1st 2021[2][3] where he scored 20 goals in 24 games during his debut season.[4]
On February 2nd 2022 Popov signed his first professional contract with Leicester City.[2]
Described as a Centre forward, Popov has also played on the left wing while playing for Manchester United.[4]
International Career edit
Chris is eligible for both Wales and Bulgaria[3]. He has featured for the Wales U19 team 8 times and made his international U21 debut on March 29th 2022.[3]
