He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, majoring in Actuarial Science, from the same university (1997–2001). He completed his secondary education at Roosevelt Memorial High School in Quezon City (1993–1997) and his primary education at Jose L. Basa Municipal School in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro (1987–1993), where he graduated as valedictorian.
