Central Montenegro (Montenegrin: Centralna Crna Gora / Централна Црна Гора), is one of three statistical regions in Montenegro. It is bordered by northern region to the north, Albania to the east, coastal region of Montenegro to the south and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west. It comprises six municipalities. It is the most populous of the regions, and contains the capital of Podgorica, historical capital of Cetinje, and the industrial center of Nikšić. Most of Montenegrin economic, cultural, educational and administration base is located within the region.[1][2][3]
