Draft:Carbon-cement supercapacitors

Carbon-cement supercapacitors are a technology that is being developed for large-scale energy storage. As of 2024, the basic concept of creating a supercapacitor from simple cement materials and carbon black has been demonstrated by a team led by Franz-Josef Ulm, but the technology is far from being a fieldable product.[1][2][3]

Compared to other forms of bulk energy storage, the proposed carbon-cement supercapacitor material would have a high power density.
