Cal Halbert was born on 22nd March in Shrewsbury. From a young age, he showed an interest in comedy and entertainment, and at age 17 performed his first every stand up performance. He attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form where he studied Politics, Performance and PE.

Cal Halbert began his professional career in comedy by performing in local comedy clubs and talent shows in the Midlands and North West of England before relocating to Newcastle Upon Tyne. He quickly gained attention for his exceptional talent in impressions and Stand Up, captivating audiences with his ability to impersonate a wide range of celebrities, politicians, and fictional characters.

He rose to prominence after appearing on Britains Got talent, where he showcased his comedic skills to a wider audience as on half of The Mimic Men with Alfie Joey.
