Brukis Stream is a stream within the Skuodas district, originating in the northeastern part of Kaukolikai. Its length is 3.3 kilometres (2.1 mi). It collects water from water reclamation systems [additional citation(s) needed]. It flows along the northern edge of the village of Kaukolikas, continues in a natural course to the north, turns westward, skirts the southern and southwestern slopes of Apuolė Pialiakalnis, then flows into the Luoba River, its left tributary.

The name is believed to be derived from the stones covering the bottom, resembling paving. "Brukis" may be derived from the German Brücke. In the Middle Ages, the stream may have been served as a natural barrier protecting the mound and the hillfort.[1][better source needed]
