Rashid Said Madegadega (born September 5th, 1994) known by his stage name as Bright Tz is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter and music producer. He has been recognized for his artistry and performances. He is known for the hit songs such as Nitunzie, Umebadilika and Ni Wewe.[1]
Biography
editBright Tz was born on September 5, 1994 in Ilala , Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Yao parents from Morogoro Region of Tanzania. He was born in Dar es Salaam and raised in Morogoro region (Ifakara District) where he got his primary and secondary education.
When he was still in school, Rashid used to write songs, compose poems and sing in school events.
Career
editHis musical journey started in 2003 when he wrote his first song when he was still in school.
He managed to record his first song in 2006 in Dar es Salaam where he went for holidays as he was still in school. After he complete his secondary education, Rashid joined and worked under management of Producer Mona Gangster in 2009 where he wrote and recorder his various songs including Nimemuona which was later released on 2013 and well received by fans. The song made his name popular and his talent became wide known by many people who loves good music particularly Bongo Flava.
In 2016, under Papy Chullo (Royal Nsyepa) management Bright released sever smash hits such as Umebadilika which he featured a best female artist in Tanzania populary known as Nandy and the song became one of the best songs of all time.
Since the beginning of his music journey, Bright Tz has released many songs that have brought impacts to his music career such as Ni Wewe, Umebadilika, Nimemuona, Sina, Aibu, Koro, Subira, Bila Mungu Sitoboi, Amenidanganya, Demu wangu to mention a few.
