Brandon Goldberg (born February 15th, 2006) is an American pianist and composer. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He began playing piano at the age of three, and released his first album, "LET'S PLAY!," (2019) at the age of 13.[1]. He attended Pine Crest High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as taking private lessons with Bill Charlap, Giselle Brodsky, and Ted Rosenthal.[2] Goldberg draws on both jazz and classical music genres in his work and performs most frequently with The Brandon Goldberg Trio.

Career

In 2015, Goldberg was a featured performer at TEDx YouthMiami[3], followed by performances at the TEDxBocaRaton and TEDxCoconutGrove conferences[4]. He appeared on Steve Harvey’s “Little Big Shots” in 2016[5] and The Harry Connick, Jr. Show the following year[6].

In 2018 and 2019, The Miami Symphony Orchestra commissioned Goldberg to write two original compositions for piano and orchestra, “Surroundings” and “Rhapsody in f minor.” 2019 would also be the release year of his first album, “LET’S PLAY.”

In 2021, Goldberg released his sophomore album, “In Good Time,” featuring Ralph Peterson, Jr. on drums, Stacy Dillard on saxophones, Josh Evans on trumpet and Luques Curtis on bass[7]

Goldberg has also written original music for television. His compositions were featured in the first season of Lawmen: Bass Reeves, episodes four and six.[2] In 2023, he appeared with Katharine McPhee on Good Morning America[8].

His third album, “Live at Dizzy’s,” was released in March of 2024[9].
