Boyd Magers is the editor-in-chief of Western Clippings, a quarterly tabloid with news and articles about movies and movie people of the past, primarily pre-1970.[1]
Career edit
Boyd started his career in radio with KRZY before pivoting to publishing.[2] Western Clippings was founded in 1991 and is still in circulation as of 2024.[3] Boyd is the author of Ladies of the Western: Interviews with Fifty-One More Actresses from the Silent Era to the Television Westerns of the 1950s and 1960s and The Films of Audie Murphy.[4] In addition, he continues to organize conventions related to western-themed movies.[5]

Boyd lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife Donna[6], whom he married in 1976.
