Draft:BoxboyNerd: Programmer, Writer

BoxboyNerd: A YouTube channel that lead to a videogame and a random novel. A story of depression and loneliness that led to a semi-successful YouTube channel with few dedicated fans. We interviewed him for his story and we found answers that shed newer light to his light-hearted content.

He starts by saying he never expected to have an interview but was excited to talk open about his life. "What were some of the biggest changes in your life? Like what really made you want to start doing YouTube?" We asked. "My earliest memories were my family moving into a new home. There were three big moves that contributed to shaping me as a person. I never really had many friends, big shocker there. I mainly stayed quiet in class for my early school years. I couldn't talk until I was four years old, so the first school I went to was speech therapy. The teachers and staff were some of the nicest people on Earth. I was going into kindergarten thinking everyone was going to be nice and my friends. I was wrong, I had no friends all the way until third grade. That was the third time we moved to a new house, and a new town. I was once again excited to make friends. I finally had a small group of friends. Little did I know, they didn't really care about me or my friendship. When we got sent to different classes at fourth grade. They never talked to me again. Perhaps it was just friends drifting apart I told myself. But it just kept happening after every year. Middle school was another opportunity for me to branch out and make friends. I had a pretty good experience, I finally had people I could talk to and to relate to. I had no idea what hurricane was heading my way. Freshman year of Highschool was tough for me. I was apart of the football team but that only lasted until the end of the year." "What had made you want to stop playing football?" We asked. "I wasn't very good and I was being made fun of for being gay." "Really? That sounds horrible, did something ever escalate with the situation or was it a couple of small examples?" We had asked him. "It was a lot of building insults and everyone hating me. That wasn't even the beginning of where things go wrong. Sophomore year I have my first mental break down, and the first time I was institutionalized. I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Depression, and Anxiety. I was put on medication and was put on constant watch until I was stabilized. Being in the mental hospital was a big help for me to come to terms with my mental health. I ended going to new school and was heavily ignoring my schoolwork. The type of medicine didn't quite work the way they intended. I was later institutionalized again from a major sycotic breakdown. I had scared my family with the sudden outburst. They were completely understanding and only wanted the best for me. I was signed up for an outpatient program and would have therapy after classes. After completing my time and my classes. I got to finally go back to a real school. Senior year I finished highschool at an alternative school. I currently work to pay for college and picked up programming as a hobby. I hope you have found my life story interesting. And I hope I answered your questions."
