Bill Marchant was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on March 17, 1964. He took up acting in his youth and pursued theatre and film roles from an early age. He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1991 and pursued the creative life as an actor, writer, musician, director and educator. He is married to actor, musician Matthew Fentiman.
