Dr. Bijesh Mishra (Nepali: डा. विजेश मिश्र) is an agricultural economist.

Personal and Professional life

Dr. Mishra was born in Bhansar of Tanahun District and completed his SLC exam at HRL Sarada Siksha Sadan HS School in Nareshwortar, Tanahun. He obtained his 10+2 from the National School of Science, Lainchour. He graduated with a B. Sc. (Agriculture) (Agricultural Economics) from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science in Rampur Chitwan. He moved to the United States for his higher education. Dr. Mishra completed his MS from Kentucky State University and his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Mishra's research is focused on sustainable agriculture, agricultural economics, and resource economics. Dr. Mishra is an emerging agricultural economist well recognized for work in the early phase of his career.
