Draft:Battle of Skibidisburg

The Battle of Skibidisburg was an incredibly grueling battle, producing about 78,000 deaths in 4 days, however, this battle and war had been largely overshadowed by the Franco-Prussian war of 1870, which adds to it's shadowed state. Also, the battle of Skibidisburg had been decisive in the war with Württemberg against Austria-Hungary in the Pioneers War. Not much of the battle is known as there had only been one survivor from the deadliness of the battle, as many of the soldiers who had survived the initial onslaught had died from disease weeks later due to the decrepit infrastructure and the amount of bloodshed. The War began on 1 May of 1870 due to an incident where the Austrian Ambassador had accidently stepped on the Wurttemburgian Prince's pet gerbil which he then ordered for the execution of the Ambassador, sparking the conflict. The War had ended on the 8th of May 1870 after the decisive victory of the Austro-Hungarians at the battle of Skibidisburg.
