Banu Salman (Arabic: بنو سلمان), is a tribe in Hadhramaut which hails from the Banu Nahd a part of the greater Qada'at tribe. The Banu Salman Inhabit Wadi Omar which is west of Al Qatn. They also live in Wadi Bin Salman on the outskirts in Seiyun Governorate, specifically in Taribah, west of Seiyun.[1]

Banu Salman is also known to have conflict with the neighboring Jawabar tribe in the 1910s, with the Salman killing a Jawabar tribesman in Al Batinah, west of Al Qatn in an act of revenge for their men being killed by Jawabar.
