BEEtag is a type of Matrix Code invented by Stacey Combes in 2015. It was designed for the study of animal movement and locomotion

The tag consists of a 5x5 grid with 25 black and white bits, 15 of which are used for identification, while the other 10 are used for error correction. The 25 bit matrix is surrounded by a white pixel border and a black pixel border. It has a total of 7,515 combinations.
