Aveson Charter Schools is a 3 school district located in Altadena, California.

History edit

Aveson was founded in 2007 on one campus, called the Aveson School of Leaders (ASL). However, due to complaints, its middle school and high school were moved to a second campus. Originally, they were supposed to be moved to Burbank, California, but the school was never allowed to pitch the idea to the neighborhood. Instead, a second option was chosen in Pasadena, California.[1]. The Aveson Global Leadership Academy (AGLA) is now open just down the road from the elementary school. Aveson also has a home school (which visits ASL two times a week), called the Aveson Independent Study Academy [2] (formerly the Aveson Center for Independent Study).
