Established in the year 1975 in Diyun by Chakma Students who were studying in various states of the country. Originally known as "All Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Association" or AAPCSA was formed as a result of the 1975 Diyun Conference by the educated youths and students from Chakma Community due to the objection of then State Students' Organization to provide any rights and recognization to the Chakma & Hajong tribals in the state. History[1] edit
The organization i.e. "All Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Association" was renamed as "All Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Union" in the year 1991. In the same year the newly named organization was divided into two other organizations i.e. CCRCHAP (Committee for Citizenship Rights of Chakmas & Hajongs of Arunachal Pradesh) and APCSU (Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Union). As few youths delved more into the Citizenship Rights & recognization of the Chakmas & Hajongs, CCRCHAP was the resultant organization of that ideology.
