A multi-skilled music producer, artist, song writer, performer, graphic designer and Club DJ. Born and bred in the streets of Tlhabane, Rustenburg in the North West Province, South Africa.

Vuyani Boyi also known to the world on and off stage as Arol Skinzie has been active since 2010. He founded FrenzyDreamz in 2012 with two members and they have gone to release two Ep's, an album and countless singles under a spectrum of labels like Sony Music Africa, Celsius Degrees Records(Kenya), Afrocentric Records(Dubai), Merecumbe Recordings(USA), Candid Beings Records(SA), House Afrika(SA), Ocha Records (U.S), MoBlack Records (Italy), Open Bar Music(Mexico), AfroRebels (Mexico), Foliage Records(UK), Salted Music (U.S) and more.

In 2015 he appeared on a late night television music show, Hit Refresh on Vuzu Tv, Channel 116 on Dstv. He later made another appearance on the same show in October of 2020, these appearances were both for two hour live DJ sets.

He began to pursue on his solo career after a split between FrenzyDreamz and continued to produce and release music under various music outlets.

His debut album 'Melanin', was released in 2019 featuring artists such as Whizz Stardom, Spin Worx, L-Kenzo, Kell Txio, Lore and Ofentic, Jvstro and Fefey. A dance categorized album released under his former label with L-Kenzo. Later that year, he produced an Afro-Pop/Beats Ep for L-Kenzo.

He remixed songs for and also worked with artists such as Portia Monique, Whizz Stardom, Dolls Combers, Lore & Ofentic, Ink & Needle, C. Moody, Lloyd BW, Kali Mija, Mogomotsi Chosen, Moish, Decency,, Torque SA, MInimal Groove, Tick Tock and more.

2020, a year of total restructure. A global pandemic hit the world with an unexpected blow, COVID19 which made a stand still in the music industry. House Afrika digitally released Mzansi House Volume 11 on the 23 of April, a 4cdcompilation which featured 10 of Arol Skinzie's songs alongside the Joburg's deep house trio, Deep Cuba, KZN super deep and Afro House producer Mzala Wa Afrika and lastly the magnificent Tshwane lay-back deep house downtempo STI T's Soul. The following day he released a collaborative Ep, DZZ DZZR Ep.

Prior to the release of House Afrika's Mzansi House Vol.11, Skinzie released a smashing 6 track Ep, Fragments and Aura, an afro and soulful house project which featured Kideo Matshaba, Lore & Ofentic, Kali Maji and more.

Again in the month of September 2020 the 25th, Arol Skinzie and L-Kenzo released an afro house album titled, Buya Afrika. The album is inspired by the love the due has for Africa and the musical background it possesses.
