edit

Michos met Garrett Brown (Steadicam inventor) through Larry McConkey and alongside McConkey designed Brown's invention, the SkyCam.[5] This relationship with Brown led to Michos becoming a renowned SteadiCam and Gamer operator working on notable films including Born on the Fourth of July, Reversal of Fortune, Interview With a Vampire, People Vs Larry Flynt and What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

In 1999, Miloš Forman invited Michos to be the cinematographer on Man on The Moon starring Jim Carrey and Danny DeVito which led to a long time collaboration with producer, director and actor, DeVito. An avid musical enthusiast, Michos is known to entwine music into the craft of camera movement and once listened to a Director’s walkman whilst shooting to film in the style of the music played to him.[8]
