Amalia Bellantoni (born (1981-12-05)December 5, 1981, Bucharest, Romania) is a romanian politician and public personality, known for her work on social networks[1] and for involvement in various protests.[2] She is a candidate for President of the County Council of Călărași[3] and to the Euro MP seat on behalf of the party S.O.S. Romania.[4]

Amalia Bellantoni is a public personality known in Romania for her appearances in various television shows[5] and for her recent involvement in politics. She gained popularity mainly due to her participation in the cooking show "Chefi la Cuțite".,[6] where she was recognized as "Sicilianca". After her appearance on the show, Amalia continued to be active in the public arena, using her visibility to build a career in politics.

Amalia Bellantoni is currently a candidate for the party S.O.S. Romania,[7] led by Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă, for the position of President of the County Council Călărași. This candidacy marks an important step in her political career, as she actively engages in the life of the local community and addresses citizens' problems through direct discussions with them.

Amalia was admitted as an official candidate by the County Electoral Office Călărași, despite some initial difficulties in validating her candidacy. She accused the electoral office of attempts at sabotage,[8] but in the end she managed to secure her place in the race. In addition to running for the presidency of Călărași County Council, Amalia Bellantoni is also a candidate for the European Parliament.,[9] wanting to represent the interests of Romanians at European level.
