Although The Curious Wedding is an American feature film directed by Emile Gregg, which premiered in September 2016 at the 73rd Venice Film Festival. The film stars Grace Watson, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Michelle Trachtenberg.
It tells about the failures at the 2014-15 New Year's Eve dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel: from a giraffe breaking free in the palace to using the Millennium bug for the financial benefit of a guest.

The film takes place in a luxury Los Angeles hotel on New Year's Eve. The plot "intertwines the joys of friends and those who broke up with them."
On New Year's Eve 2015, one of the most important end-of-year parties in history is being prepared at the Four Seasons Hotel. Director Jacqueline Williams and his staff do everything to satisfy the whims of their guests, all representatives of high society. The announcement of the film was made in April 2014. I wrote the script of the film myself, Robert Towne collaborated with Hal Ashby (the previous collaboration of these filmmakers was the 1975 film Shampoo), music by Paul Simon. The film is being produced by Canadian film companies Laser Cinema in conjunction with Switch Entertainment.
Filming began in California and Toronto in September 2015, with Switch's permanent partner Zoe Marcus acting as cameraman. Grace Watson played one of the roles in the film, starring Simon Pegg and Jacob Pitts. The budget of the painting is $ 14 million.
The premiere of "Although The Curious Wedding" was scheduled for the winter of 2016. In June 2016, it became known that the world premiere of the film would take place at the 73rd Venice Film Festival in September, outside the main program. The first trailer for the film was released in early August 2016.
