Allie Smith (born 5 February 2000) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for NSW Swifts. Smith debuted in SSN in the 2020 season with her maiden club, the Melbourne Vixens. She made a name for herself as a skilled midcourter, proving herself to the crowd as a strong choice in C and as a dominant force in the WD bib. Ahead of the 2022 season, Allie Smith informed the Vixens that she was departing the club, and made the move to Sydney, signing a contract to play for the NSW Swifts side, where as per her recent contract she will remain until 2025 at the earliest. Finding herself at a new club, in a new city, in a new state, Smith also found herself with a new position; under the influence of Akle, Smith is now known for her defensive flair, often swinging across from the midcourt into the GD position and pulling through at the most crucial moments. In only her second season with the Swifts, Smith was ruled out for over half the season with a devastating injury to the foot. She was unable to take part in the finals series in addition to the latter half of the regular season, however, she continued to play a crucial role on the sidelines, cheering on her side alongside fellow injured teammate Sammy Wallace. Smith has returned to the court in the 2024 preseason, and she, the club, and the fans look ahead as she continues to build and develop her career.
